There is a story about laughter,
- about 12 concubines who defeated the war strategist,
Sun Tzu. When he boasted that he couldtransform anyone into a warrior,
the emperor challenged him to train his 12 concubines. The following day,
the women were assembled in the royal courtyard and instructed in the basics
of marching. Of course, they thought it was ridiculous to stand rigid,
at attention and listen to this man bark orders at them, and they paid
no heed to his orders Instead, they fell about laughing and giggling. After
a morning of no success, Sun Tzu went to the emperor and admitted his failure.
After a single morning, the great warrior had been defeated for the first
time.
